Boca Raton, FL – March 4, 2015 – The Addison has long been known as a premiere wedding and events venue in the Boca Raton community, specifically recognized for their farm-fresh, cooked-to-order cuisine and high quality service. Now the venue has brought the same culinary and service philosophy and award winning team to a brand new glatt kosher catering program, developed with the Orthodox Rabbinical Board. The new catering program is the result of Addison Executive Chef, Patrick Duffy and his culinary team’s desire to bring the same award winning food to the kosher community. “This is a brand new approach to glatt kosher catering, developed specifically with this community in mind. It was important to us that our glatt kosher cuisine and the service be identical to the Five Star Diamond quality food the Addison is known for,” explains Chef Patrick.
On Tuesday, March 31st, the Addison and the American Institute of Hospitality Sciences will host Jewish community leaders, South Florida notables and local press for a roaring 20’s themed gala in honor of the property’s unique history. The gala is a chance for both kosher and non-kosher guests to experience a high quality event with a mouthwatering menu that just happened to be glatt kosher.
South Florida kosher community leaders and founders of the Rand Eye Institute, Dr. William & Deborah Rand, hosted the inaugural Addison Glatt Kosher event in December 2014. “Knowing of the venue’s outstanding food, top notch service and unique beauty, they wanted to launch the first Orthodox Rabbinical Board supervised glatt kosher catering program. “I am proud to have been the first to host an Addison glatt kosher event,” explains Debbie Rand. “It was truly an impressive night where my kosher and non-kosher guests were able to enjoy 5-Star outstanding food, service and ambiance. It was an amazing event with everlasting memories.”
Guests at the gala will enjoy a night of 1920’s music and entertainment provided by Good Vibrations, paired with amazingGolden Age décor created by the award winning team at Daniel Events. Classic prohibition era libations will be served along with hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a 3-course plated dinner, enjoyed as the President and CEO of the American Institute of Hospitality Sciences present’s the Addison with the 2015 Five Star Diamond for their new catering program. The night will feature favorites from our glatt kosher menu, all prepared and served under the supervision of the ORB.
