So how big should a team be? Practice shows that teams can be no more than 6-8 people. The team should creating effective teams be as cross-functional as possible and be in the same room. It is important that team members have a common goal, and everyone has an understanding of how to achieve it. The advantages of such a team are internal proactive communication, knowledge exchange, focus on team results, etc. Teams of this size are capable of maximum efficiency.
Ashleigh and Bill are such an awesome, loving couple – we can’t wait for you to hear all about them below!
ADDISON: How did you and your husband meet?
ASHLEIGH: Bill and I met back in 2015 when he relocated to AZ from FL for a job opportunity and I had just graduated college and started at that same company!
ADDISON: What was your first date?
ASHLEIGH: First “official” date was dinner at Benihana’s – I learned that one of Bill’s favorites is hibachi! We learned so much about each other that night that turned into so much more.
ADDISON: When did you know it was love?
ASHLEIGH: So one work happy hour Bill and I ventured off and went to another bar for drinks and sat on the patio for hours just talking about everything and completely opened up to each other. By the end of the night, there was such a spark that just couldn’t be ignored and we both knew we were falling in love with each other.
ADDISON: How did he propose?
ASHLEIGH: It was 12/19/20 and I left early to go get a facial that morning. I came home and our Christmas tree was lit up, flowers on the table and a gift bag and card on the coffee table. I was so confused and surprised – Bill asked me to sit down and open up a few gifts (we just had our five year anniversary) so I read a sweet card, opened up a gift to see a ring box, and then looked up and Bill was already on one knee asking if I would marry him!
ADDISON: Why did you choose the Addison?
ASHLEIGH: We looked at a few venues and none of them were anything that stood out to us, but right when we walked into The Addison we both just looked at each other and smiled. The big trees, the beautiful architect, and just the overall atmosphere was breathtaking! On top of the, the service and our AMAZING wedding coordinator, Jessica, was amazing from the start and through our entire wedding.
ADDISON: What was the theme of your wedding?
ASHLEIGH: We went with a very simple, but romantic feel. Our biggest thing was The Addison had so much character already, so we just wanted to add little touches with flowers, candles, and bistro lighting. Everything came together perfectly!
ADDISON: Would you have done anything differently?
ASHLEIGH: Not a single thing. The entire day from start to finish was perfect and went so smoothly. If there was ONE thing, I wish it never ended because it flew by! We started the say early and took advantage of extra photos, but we were so thankful how organized everything was at The Addison, including the food was incredible, service was amazing and everyone was so kind, and our vision for our wedding truly came to life. Such a dream.
ADDISON: What advice would you give soon-to-be brides and grooms?
ASHLEIGH: Soak in every single minute and take a few moments to step back and really appreciate everything – the family and friends who you are surrounded by, the person you are marrying, and the future that is ahead! We couldn’t believe how quickly the day goes by, but it was truly the best day EVER!
