WEDDING CAKE STAND INS!
People are saying “no” to the traditional wedding cake and replacing the cakes of old with fun and frivolous dessert and treat bars. 2016 will see dessert tables featuring an assortment of cakes, tiered cheesecakes, an abundance of donuts and pies, dessert bars and for the long journey home; cookies and milk!
METALLIC MANIA
The elevated version of sparkle and bling has brought numerous amounts of gold, silver and metallic color palettes to every aspect of the embellishing process. Brides are using foil printing and stamped lettering to incorporate modern sparkle elements into their invitations and stationery. Sequenced gold linens and mercury vases will adorn tables. Bridesmaids will sparkle in metallic dresses. Rose gold and copper are already expected to be two of the most requested shades for 2016.

Using organic and locally sourced food will continue to be important. More and more couples are making it a priority when selecting their menus. Interactive Food Stations and Farm to Table themed displays will feature heavily as part of the cocktail hour and late night party options.

The days of matching bridesmaids are gone. Brides are now choosing to let their ladies shine in styles that flatter their bodies. The extra bonus is many of these outfits end up being worn more than once, which we love! It’s a stunning look. This trend isn’t going anywhere.

Planners around the globe are all predicting 3 trends for 2016. Budget conscious brides wanting to incorporate elegance and host an intimate event are saying yes to morning ceremonies and hosting brunch instead of dinner. Mimosas and delicious breakfast items will do the trick.
